BEATBOX
Interaction Design
BEATBOX is a DIY acoustic drum machine made from everyday household recyclables. It’s used to compose, record and perform music and it’s designed as a cheap and accessible way to introduce new musicians to the world of music production.
This page goes over the concept development for beatbox, and I’ve included the original project presentation and report describing research, design requirements for each part of the device and my goals for this project.
I’m still working on this project, and my next steps are to design a working prototype with assembly instructions, which I’ll improve via user testing.
